Julia & Matai
Paris Rooftop ProposalMatai surprised Julia with a true fairytale proposal on an exclusive Parisian rooftop overlooking the Champs-Elysées. He decorated his proposal setting with 18 candles and delightful floral design. Matai also arranged for a fabulous Champagne table complete with the world's finest chocolates by Patrick Roger. Once the couple entered the private Paris rooftop, Matai took his time before dropping to his knee to pop the question. As you'll see in the photos below, Julia's reaction was absolutely priceless! After she accepted the ring to become his fiancée, we headed to Trocadéro for some dazzling Paris couple pictures with the sparkling Eiffel Tower as our backdrop. The next day, we kicked off a 2-hour sunset photoshoot on Alexander III Bridge and concluded at the Louvre during the romantic Blue Hour.

Mother Nature works in mysterious ways ...
Julia and Matai first met in 2014 at a friend’s house-warming party. They hit it off quickly and started dating. However, at the time, Julia was still in college while Matai had just started a new job in a different city ... and so things didn't quite end up working out.
Over the years, however, the couple occasionally bumped into each other at parties ... and it was in late 2017 when Mother Nature brought these two lovebirds together for good ...
Hurricane Harvey hit Houston (where Matai lived) with catastrophic rainfall and flooding, forcing him to evacuate to nearby College Station, where Julia resided.
Matai was only in College Station for a single day, and decided to attend a lecture at the local university … and just so happened to run into Julia in the parking lot … the rest is history …

Private rooftop Paris proposal with Eiffel Tower views
As we love to say, when you come to Paris to pop the 4-word question to your partner, one of the first decisions you'll make is the location for your Paris Proposal; you need to initially decide between Eiffel Tower views vs. non-Eiffel Tower views ... and then narrow down your choices by private (for-pay locations) vs. free or publicly accessible settings.
Once you set your date and location, it's time to hire the right vendor team, which may include anything from musicians (violinists and guitarists can make a massive difference in how your 5 senses experience the proposal!), florists, proposal planners, videographers, and of course your Paris Photographer.
